An Opportunity For Democrats To Show Some Heart

On Monday, February 25th, the United States Senate will be voting on legislation brought forth by Nebraska Representative, Ben Sasse. The Bill he is presenting is the “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.” It will protect babies that are born alive after an attempted abortion, requiring doctors and nurses to do whatever possible to ensure the baby lives. Just a few weeks ago New York state legalized abortions up to the moment of birth. This included the possibility of allowing the infant to die of starvation or exposure if it is born alive. Additional states, such as Vermont and Rhode Island, are seeking to pass similar laws. These laws have exposed…

    The Political Gap

As I drive down the streets of town I see many political signs in people’s yards. If I see a Democrat politician’s name, I am sure to see that the rest of the signs in that person’s yard are also those of Democrat politicians. The same is true for Republicans…it seems that voting for a mix of political parties just isn’t the thing to do anymore. Why is this? It seems that citizens are forced to vote so one-sided because of what each of the two dominant political parties peddle. Democrats want to take guns away, Republicans want you to keep them, Democrats want abortion, Republicans do not want abortion,…

    Is Jeff Flake a…Flake?

Jeff Flake is the Arizona state Representative that cast his vote as a “Yes” for Brett Kavanaugh during the confirmation hearing on Saturday, on the condition that a week long FBI investigation took place before his official confirmation. However, in an interview on 60 Minutes, Flake admitted that an FBI investigation would likely change nothing. Why then, would he request such a thing? Well, short of pandering to Democrats and the Main Stream Media who have both attacked Judge Kavanaugh relentlessly ever since the allegations of sexual assault were made against him, I have no clue. Making the request had no conservative motivation, no other conservatives were calling for it,…

    Feelings Do Not Equal Proof

Jeff Flake, a senator out of Arizona, voted “Yes” on confirming Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court…on one condition, Kavanaugh must undergo a one week long FBI investigation. This is despite Kavanaugh having already gone through six FBI investigations during his career as a judge, one for every time he moved up the ranks. Nothing even slightly akin to sexual misconduct was ever discovered before, but you can be sure someone from somewhere in his past that never came forward before will come forward now, Democrats will make sure that there is more stink to be made. Senator Flake doesn’t seem to have any qualms about dragging a man…

    Are Leading Republicans Spineless?

Republicans hold a majority in both the House of Representatives and Congress. Yet, Planned Parentood has been funded through every spending bill passed since Republicans gained control and the wall has yet to be funded. Democrats have also been able to bully the Kavanaugh situation. Continuously pushing back the confirmation vote and making absurd demands regardless of the fact Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s story has yet to be substantiated. However, her allegations have been contradicted by everyone she claims was present when Kavanaugh supposedly assaulted her. So, why do Republicans continue to give ground? Some folks are saying that Senator Chuck Grassley (IA) is just giving Democrats enough rope to…

Unsubstantiated Claims Vs Supreme Court Confirmation

The accusations that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford has leveled at Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh are serious to say the least. She has requested that his confirmation to the court be postponed until her camp, which is entirely composed of democrats that are anti-Trump and Kavanaugh, can get the FBI to investigate her story. A friend of Ford’s that originally supported her story has now walked back her comments. No one else has come forth in support of Ford and her accusations of a crime taking place 36 years ago. Nor did Ford tell anyone of the supposed assault until 2012 when Kavanaugh was linked with Mitt Romney, who was…

    Dishonest Democrats

In recent weeks I have been reading headlines about the Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh. Most recent are the allegations made against him by Christine Blasey Ford, who claims Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her 36 years ago when the two were in high school. These allegations should be taken seriously and the truth should be sought. In short, her story needs to be corroborated. Yet, senate democrats have been refusing to question Kavanaugh and Ford on the allegations. Why? Because they are stalling in an effort to draw this ordeal out until the November elections can be held and democrats have a shot at taking back the senate majority. In which…
